Voting by QR code
Let the whole room vote, fairly.
Show of hands favours the loud. Paper ballots take an hour to count. A QR code gives every phone exactly one vote and shows the result the moment voting closes: contests, awards, team decisions, which band plays next.
How it works
- 01
List the choices
Names, numbers pinned to entries, or options. Up to 20 per vote.
- 02
Show the QR
On the screen, on the door, on every table. Voting stays open as long as you want.
- 03
Reveal the winner
Hide results until you're ready, then put the bars on the big screen.
Fair by default
- One vote per phone, even when everyone is on the same Wi-Fi.
- Anonymous, so nobody has to vote for their boss in public.
- Choose when results show: live, after voting, or only when you close it.
- Scan counts tell you how many people took part.
What people use QR voting for
- Costume, chili, bake-off and talent contests.
- Office awards and team-name votes.
- Picking the next event, menu or date.
- Audience choice awards at festivals and showcases.
- Classroom elections and debates.
Questions
Can people vote twice?
Each phone gets one vote. Someone could clear their browser and vote again, which is true of every no-account voting tool; for anything binding, use a ballot with ID.
How many people can vote?
The free plan takes up to 100 votes per poll. Creator takes 1,000, Pro 5,000, and Team is unlimited.
Can I hide results until the end?
Yes. Set results to show after the poll closes, then reveal them on screen.
