Halloween costume contest voting with a QR code

Costume contests usually end with whoever has the loudest friends winning the clapping vote. A QR poll fixes that: one vote per phone, counted live, and nobody has to cheer for their boss in public.

Make one poll per category, list the contestants as options, and put the QR code on the screen or on the door.

How to run it

Tips from running these live

  • Use numbers, not names, if people don't all know each other. Pin a number to each costume.
  • Set results to show after voting, not during, so early votes don't steer the rest.
