Live quiz game

Trivia night, without the app downloads.

Build a quiz, put the QR code on the screen, and players join from their phones in seconds. Timed questions, points for speed, streak bonuses and a leaderboard that keeps every table in the game.

How it works

  1. 01

    Build the quiz

Name the game and add multiple-choice questions with the correct answer marked.

  2. 02

    Players scan to join

Everyone points a camera at the QR code. They pick a name and they are in the lobby.

  3. 03

    Play against the clock

Each question is timed. Correct answers score points, faster answers score more, and the leaderboard updates between rounds.

Built for rooms full of phones

Most quiz apps make players type a game PIN into a website or download an app first. QR Polls skips that. The join code is a QR code, so a room of 200 people can be in the lobby in the time it takes to read the rules.

  • Up to 500 players in one game.
  • Timed questions, 30 seconds by default.
  • Points for correct answers with a bonus for speed, plus a streak bonus for correct answers in a row.
  • Live leaderboard and a podium at the end.
  • Players never create an account.

Where hosts use it

  • Classrooms: review before a test, where the leaderboard does the motivating.
  • Company parties and team-building: a trivia round between dinner and speeches.
  • Conferences: a quiz break between sessions to wake the room up.
  • Pubs, clubs and fundraisers: a weekly trivia night with no paper answer sheets to mark.
