How it works

    Give it a title like "Ask the panel anything" and you get a QR code and a presenter view.

    The room asks and upvotes

    People scan, type a question and upvote the ones they want answered. No accounts.

    Answer from the top

    Questions sort by votes. Mark each one answered, hide what does not belong, and close the board when time is up.

Why upvoted Q&A works

The microphone at a town hall goes to whoever is bravest, not to whoever has the question most people share. Upvoting fixes that. The room decides what matters, and a question asked anonymously gets the same chance as one asked by the most senior person there.

What the host controls

  • Questions sort by upvotes, so the board shows what the room wants most.
  • Mark a question answered and it moves out of the queue.
  • Hide a question that is off-topic or a duplicate. Hidden questions can be restored.
  • Close the board to stop new questions, and reopen it if you run over.

Good places to use it

  • All-hands and town halls, where honest questions need anonymity.
  • Conference panels, so the moderator is not guessing what the audience cares about.
  • Webinars and hybrid events, where remote attendees use the link instead of the QR code.
  • Lectures, where students who never raise a hand will still type a question.

Questions

Can audience members ask anonymously?

Yes. Nobody needs an account to ask or upvote, and names are not required.

Can I approve questions before they appear?

Not yet. Questions appear when they are submitted, and the host can hide any question from the board immediately. A pre-approval queue is on the roadmap.

Can people upvote more than once?

No. Each device can upvote a question once.

Does the board update live?

Yes. The presenter view refreshes every few seconds, so new questions and votes appear without reloading.

Is live Q&A free?

Yes, during early access every feature is free.
