Why a static code does not expire
Some QR code sites send every scan through their own server, and the code stops working when a trial ends. A static code (Link, Wi-Fi, Contact, Text, Email or SMS) holds your content itself, so a phone goes straight to it and nothing of ours is in the middle. Poll codes are the exception: they go through qrpolls.com so scans can be counted, and they work as long as the poll exists.
The one thing that can break a static code is the page it points to. If your address changes, the printed code keeps pointing at the old one, so make a new code for the new address.
Editable codes: what happens if you stop paying
An editable code points at a short qrpolls.link address that forwards to your page, so you can change where it goes after it is printed and see scans by day, country and device type. That forwarding is ours to keep running.
Our promise: No expiry date. Codes keep forwarding after you cancel. Many QR subscriptions switch dynamic codes off at the end of a trial or a plan. We compared five of them on the Pro page.
