QR code with logo

A QR code with your logo, checked before you print it.

Add your logo, see exactly how it will look, and get a scan score that tells you if phones can still read it. Then download it free as PNG and SVG. Your logo is never uploaded.

How it works

  1. 01

    Choose the Logo style

Pick the Logo tile, or upload a PNG, JPEG or WebP image of up to 2 MB. SVG files are not accepted.

  2. 02

    Keep it small

A logo covers at most 20% of the code. We cap it there, keep it away from the three corner squares and switch to the strongest repair level automatically.

  3. 03

    Read the scan score

We try to read the design five ways, the way a phone would: full size, tiny, out of focus, in dim light and at an angle.

What you can download

  • Every style is free to download: your logo, dot shapes, corner shapes and a frame with your own words. PNG and SVG, no watermark.
  • The SVG is vector, so a print shop can scale it to any size without blur.
  • Want to change where the code goes after printing? Make it editable: your first 3 editable codes are free with an email. After that, $3 CAD once per code.
  • Your logo stays in your browser. We do not upload it or store it, unless you make the code editable, which saves the finished picture with the code.

Why a logo can stop a code from scanning

A QR code carries spare data so a phone can still read it when part is hidden. A logo uses that spare data. A small logo in the middle is fine; a big one leaves too little, and some phones fail.

That is why the generator limits logo size, switches to the strongest repair level (H, about 30% spare) when there is a logo, and tells you plainly when it will not scan.

Gotchas we see most

  • A logo on a busy or coloured square: give it a plain white or light background so the dots around it stay readable.
  • Light dots on a dark background: many older phone apps cannot read inverted codes. The scan score flags it.
  • Printing tiny: a logo makes the dots smaller for the same width. Check the size calculator and go one step bigger.
  • A long link plus a logo makes a dense code. Use the shortest link you can.

Questions

Can I download a QR code with my logo for free?

Yes. Every style, logo included, downloads free as PNG and SVG with no account and no watermark.

Is my logo uploaded to your servers?

No, not to make or download the code: the image is read and resized in your browser. Only if you make a code editable is the finished picture saved with it.

Which logo files work?

PNG, JPEG and WebP, up to 2 MB. SVG is not accepted, because SVG files can carry code.

How big can the logo be?

The generator caps it at 20% of the code's area, in the middle and clear of the three corner squares, so it cannot hide what a phone needs to find the code.
