Exit ticket questions for the last five minutes of class

An exit ticket is the fastest honest measure of a lesson. On paper it takes an evening to read a stack of them. As a poll, you see the pattern before the bell rings.

Students answer anonymously, which matters. A student who is lost will say so on a phone long before they raise a hand.

How to run it

  1. 01Choose one reflection question and one understanding question. Two is plenty.
