Audience choice contest voting templates

Give an event audience a clear question and a recognisable list of entries. These examples open as individual multiple choice polls, not a registration system or a multi-question ballot.

Replace the sample entries with your final list. You can paste one entry per line in the editor, review the names and compare plans using your actual entry count and expected responses before publishing.

Choose the plan for your actual event

Enter your entry count and expected responses. This compares existing plans; it creates no poll and starts no payment.

Free supports up to 20 choices and 100 responses per poll.

Creator supports up to 100 choices and 1000 responses for CAD 6.00 per month, billed monthly.

Creator is a renewing monthly subscription. You can cancel future renewal in billing.

Eligible teachers keep the current teacher offer. Check eligibility before subscribing.

Start with the free example. If your event needs a paid plan, your draft is kept through sign-in and checkout.

How to run it

  1. 01Choose a category below and open its editable example. Replace every sample entry, or use Paste choices for your complete list.
  2. 02Agree eligibility, closing time and a tie-break rule. Review duplicate-vote and results settings before publishing; anonymous voting does not verify a person's identity.
  3. 03Check capacity for one poll, then publish and share its QR code. Use a separate poll and QR code for each category, and tell voters which category they are answering.
  4. 04Close voting at the announced time and export the results. For your next event, use the closed poll's Use for next event action to prepare a new draft with separate results.

Tips from running these live

  • For a photo or bake-off contest, display the entries at the event with matching numbers. These templates contain text choices; they do not collect entries or upload contestant photos.
  • Count responses for each category separately. Plan limits apply to each poll, and a capacity estimate does not reserve capacity or start a payment.
  • The default duplicate control uses a device cookie, so guests on the same Wi-Fi can vote separately. Clearing cookies or using another browser can allow another vote; this does not verify voter identity. Test your chosen settings at the venue.
  • Check whether anonymous audience polling is appropriate for your prize and rules. It is not a substitute for verified eligibility or an independently audited ballot.
