About QR Polls
A tool for asking a room a question and seeing the answer in seconds: live polls, word clouds, audience Q&A and quiz games that people join by pointing a phone camera at a QR code.
Who makes it
QR Polls is built and run in Ottawa, Canada, by Baldwin Industries. It is a young product, and the people who build it read every message sent to [email protected].
How we build it
The audience should never have to sign up.
Voters scan a code and answer in their browser. No app, no account, no email address. The person running the room is the only one who needs a login.
Say what exists, and label what does not.
The pricing page separates what works today from what is planned. Comparison pages list what competitors do better. If a number is not real yet, it is left off.
Collect as little as possible.
Raw voter IP addresses are never stored, only one-way hashes. Duplicate votes are stopped with a random ID on the voter’s own phone, not a profile of who they are.
Free while it is early.
The free plan is free for good, with every limit printed on the pricing page. Paid plans start at $5/mo.
Try it
The fastest way to see whether QR Polls fits your room is to run one question. Start from a question set, or create a free account and write your own.
